Dr. Seamon earned her PhD in Neuroscience from Augusta University (2021) after a B.A. in Psychology & Neuroscience from Coe College. Her work spans biomedical research, neurodegenerative disease, nutrition, inflammation, metabolic conditions, and psychiatric disorders.

Bone biology, orthopedics, microscopy & imaging, and radiation biology.
Dr. Hagan earned her PhD in Cellular Biology and Anatomy from Augusta University (2021) after a B.S. in Kinesiology from UW Oshkosh. Her expertise covers biomedical research, bone biology, orthopedics, microscopy & imaging, radiation biology, R&D, and emergency medicine.

Computer science, health IT, and information systems.
Dr. Samhan is an Associate Professor of Business Information Systems at Illinois State University (since 2016), with a PhD in Management Information Systems from Washington State University and a Master's in telecommunications and computer networks. Focus areas: computer science, health IT, and information systems.

Psychology, health sciences, DEI, and data analysis.
Dr. Morton earned her M.A. and Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Liberty University (2023) after a B.A. in Health Sciences from Siena Heights University. Her work focuses on applied psychology, health sciences, DEI, and data analysis.

Biomechanics, cell culture, and tissue engineering.
Austin received his BS and MS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison (2016, 2018) and is a PhD candidate in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Iowa. His expertise includes biomechanics, cell culture, tissue engineering, and publication.

Social-science research, history, and data analysis.
Dr. Tereshina is a creative social-sciences researcher with a PhD and 8 years of experience in academic writing and proofreading. A former Associate Professor and academic-program leader, she mentors students and conducts data analysis across history and the social sciences.

Sociology, research methods, and social determinants of health.
Dr. Zaborenko earned her PhD in Sociology and Gerontology from Purdue University, where she taught Intro to Sociology and Statistics. Her interests include the life-course effects of adversity, social determinants, research methods, and data analysis.

People science, organizational psychology, leadership, and team development.
Dr. Swansboro is a lifelong learner who works as an Adjunct Psychology Professor, consultant — and professional skydiver. His expertise spans people science, human resources, organizational psychology, people research, marketing, leadership, and team development.

Gene editing, immunology, and metabolism.
Dr. Guilz earned her PhD in Nutritional and Metabolic Biology from Columbia University (2023) and is a postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Emily Mace's lab. She holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of Delaware and a Master's, with expertise in gene editing, immunology, and metabolism.

Behavioral science, perception, and data analysis.
Dr. McManus earned his PhD in Cognitive Psychology from North Dakota State University, studying how physical actions influence our perception of the environment. His work covers behavioral science, data analysis, social media, attitudes toward climate change, and tech/industry research.

Neuromodulation, deep brain stimulation, and biological psychology.
Dr. Shanazz earned her PhD in Pharmacology from Augusta University (2022) after a B.S. in Psychology. Her expertise includes deep brain stimulation, neuromodulation, acetylcholine, 2-photon microscopy, behavioral science, inflammation, biological psychology, and psychiatric disorders.

Dynamic system modeling, uncertainty, and complex systems.
Dr. Newhart is a licensed Professional Engineer (Virginia) with a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Old Dominion University. His research focuses on dynamic system modeling with an emphasis on uncertainty and complex-system characterization.

Machine learning & AI, statistical modeling, and computational neuroscience.
Dr. Biswas holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering. His expertise spans machine learning & AI, statistical modeling and causal inference, computational neuroscience, biomedical signal processing (EEG, fMRI, Neuropixels), neurodegenerative disease research, psychometrics, high-dimensional data analysis, and Python/R/MATLAB.

Remote sensing and machine learning for forestry & coastal ecosystems.
Dr. Mohan holds a PhD in Geography from UC Berkeley and dual MS degrees in Forestry and Operations, with 10+ years in remote sensing (UAVs, satellite imagery, LiDAR) and machine learning for forestry and coastal-ecosystem monitoring under a changing climate.

Health psychology, stress & resilience, and health equity.
Dr. Austin earned her PhD in Psychology from Northwestern University (2022) after a B.S. in Biology from VCU. Her research focuses on health psychology, stress and resilience, mental health and well-being, health equity, social determinants of health, and cardiovascular & metabolic outcomes.

Experimental psychology, research methodology, and human-technology interaction.
Dr. Carlson is an experimental psychologist with 15+ years of experience in neuro-cognitive psychology, human-technology interaction, and applied research. She holds a Ph.D. and M.A., with a focus on research methodology and transformative technology.

Economic modeling, finance, statistics, and forecasting.
Dr. Greer earned her PhD in Economics from the University of Kentucky (1999) after an M.A. in Economics from Indiana University. Her work spans economic modeling, finance, statistics, forecasting, writing, publishing, and teaching — including cost modeling for electric utilities.

Oncology, molecular biology, and regenerative medicine.
Dr. Jones holds a Bachelor's in Chemistry and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, with a strong foundation across oncology, molecular biology, and regenerative medicine — and a real passion for science mentorship.

Artificial intelligence, machine learning, and wearable sensing.
Dr. Thelagathoti earned an MS in Computer Science from IIT Madras and a PhD in Computing and Information Science from the University of Nebraska Omaha (2024). He is a Research Scientist at Boys Town National Research Hospital, working in AI, machine learning, and wearable sensors.

Neurodegenerative disease, scientific consulting, and product marketing.
Dr. Wakhloo earned her PhD in Neuroscience from the Max Planck Institute for Experimental Medicine (2019), exploring the molecular impact of exercise-induced hypoxia on hippocampal function and cognition, followed by postdoctoral research. She works across neurodegenerative disease, scientific consulting, and product marketing.

Neuroscience research with 20+ peer-reviewed publications and a strong mentoring record.
Dr. Song has a background in medicine and nearly a decade of neuroscience research experience at the University of Pittsburgh. She has authored 20+ peer-reviewed publications and mentored numerous undergraduate and high-school students, many of whom have gone on to careers in medicine and research.

Renewable-energy modeling and simulation.
Dr. Roy (Sam) is an electrical engineer specializing in renewable-energy modeling and simulations. He recently completed his PhD and works as a transmission planning engineer, passionate about ensuring reliable future electric grids.

Neural tissue engineering, immunology, and biotech commercialization.
Dr. Franklin earned her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Miami (2024) after a B.S. at the University of Florida and an M.S. at Drexel University. Her research focused on neuroimmune responses to brain-computer interfaces, spanning neural tissue engineering, immunology & inflammation, and biotech commercialization.

CRISPR-Cas9 and genome editing.
Dr. Khajanchi earned her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a B.A. in Chemistry from Amherst College. Her research focused on CRISPR-Cas9 and genome editing, and she now works on rapid, large-scale genome sequencing.
