No! This program is designed for beginners with no prior programming experience. We will provide access to our online course before the first instructor-led session, which will cover the basics of Python and fundamental math concepts for AI/ML. This will help students grasp key concepts before the live sessions begin. Additionally, we will go over Python basics in the first session to ensure everyone is comfortable getting started.
You will need a computer with internet access. We will demonstrate and use Google Colab for all projects, allowing students to run code in the cloud without any installation. However, if you prefer to install Python locally, we will provide step-by-step instructions for setting up Python and required libraries like NumPy, Pandas, and TensorFlow on your computer.
All sessions are live, interactive, and conducted online via video conferencing tools. Students can ask questions, participate in discussions, and work on coding exercises in real-time. If you miss a session or need to review any concepts, recordings of the sessions will be available for you to catch up at your convenience.
The program costs $1000.
The program spans 10 weeks, with one 120-minute live online session per week. Alternatively, a 2-week summer intensive option is available, featuring daily 120-minute sessions. The curriculum includes theory, coding walkthroughs, hands-on group activities, and project-based learning.
This course will provide students with foundational-level skills in AI and ML. They will learn Python programming and key libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib) and build simple machine learning models covering applications in computer vision and natural language processing (NLP). The program also addresses AI ethics, bias, and responsible AI development.
The program is taught by professors from renowned universities as well as real-world practitioners with industry experience. Additionally, guest lectures from AI experts provide valuable insights into real-world applications of AI and ML.
Students will engage in hands-on AI projects, including applications in computer vision and natural language processing (NLP). A final AI project allows students to showcase their learning and can be added to their portfolio.
Yes, instructors are available for support outside of scheduled sessions to assist with any questions or challenges students may encounter.
This program is designed for high schoolers from all backgrounds, not just STEM, as AI is disrupting all fields and careers. Completing the program will provide you with foundational AI/ML skills, a certificate of completion, and a portfolio of AI projects, which can strengthen your college applications and showcase your ability to work on cutting-edge technology.
