Research Ignited gives high school and middle school students transformative learning experiences to excel in college admissions and future careers. Students conduct original research under PhD mentorship with opportunities for journal publication, build hands-on AI, machine learning, robotics, aerospace, and quantum computing projects, engineer and fly their own rockets and satellites, prepare for AP courses, and take on college-level research labs such as computational biology and bioinformatics — through real projects, expert guidance, and a clear path from beginner to published researcher.

Aerospace Track

An aerospace pathway — from flight science to flight hardware

Start with the foundation lab, then specialise in launch vehicles or satellite engineering. Each program stands on its own — there is no prerequisite between them.

Level 1 · Foundation

Aerospace Engineering & Mission Design Lab

The best place to start. Students learn how flight actually works — lift and drag, propulsion, orbits, drones and satellites — and design a full space mission end to end using real engineering tools and simulation labs. Grades 7–12 · no experience needed · includes a free discovery-flight and pilot ground-school pathway.
