Research Ignited helps motivated middle and high school students build advanced STEM skills through PhD-led research mentorship, AI programs, AP STEM Bridge courses, and college-level research labs — with real projects and a clear path to original, publishable research.
Research Ignited gives high school and middle school students transformative learning experiences to excel in college admissions and future careers. Students conduct original research under PhD mentorship with opportunities for journal publication, build hands-on AI, machine learning, robotics, aerospace, and quantum computing projects, engineer and fly their own rockets and satellites, prepare for AP courses, and take on college-level research labs such as computational biology and bioinformatics — through real projects, expert guidance, and a clear path from beginner to published researcher.
Publish original research, build with AI, engineer real flight hardware, or dive into a hands-on STEM lab — start where your student is.
Our flagship — 1:1 PhD-guided original research, a publishable paper, and optional journal support. Any field.

Our flagship. One-on-one PhD-led research mentorship in any discipline — STEM, social science, the humanities, or AI — from research question to a complete, publishable paper.
Work one-on-one with a PhD mentor to design and run an original research project — and, if you choose, see it through to publication in a recognized high-school research journal.
Research Ignited students have completed original research across biomedical science, AI, environmental science, finance, and psychology — several published in recognized high-school research journals.
Start with our flagship AI Scholars Program — a structured AI/ML foundation — or jump into a hands-on lab. Every program stands on its own and builds toward original AI research.
Our flagship AI program — a structured AI/ML foundation in Python, computer vision, NLP & generative AI. No coding needed.

Start with the foundation lab, then specialise in launch vehicles or satellite engineering. Each program stands on its own — there is no prerequisite between them.
The best place to start. Students learn how flight actually works — lift and drag, propulsion, orbits, drones and satellites — and design a full space mission end to end using real engineering tools and simulation labs. Grades 7–12 · no experience needed · includes a free discovery-flight and pilot ground-school pathway.
Level 2 · Specialisations — pick a discipline and build in it
Design, simulate and optimise a real launch vehicle — stability, motors, recovery and trajectory — then fly a scored competition-style digital mission. Grades 9–12 & college.
$999 · 8 sessionsBuild, program and operate a real can-sized satellite with an ESP32 flight computer, sensors, GPS and LoRa telemetry — plus your own ground station. The hardware is yours to keep. Grades 8–12 & college.
$999 + hardwareApplied, project-based labs across robotics and drones, computational biology, and quantum computing — each one built around something students actually make.
Build & keep real robots and autonomous drones with Python. Grades 6–12.
$799 + kitReal cancer-genomics research, fully online. College-level · by application.
$2,999A rare mentor-led quantum lab — build a BB84 quantum-security simulator in Python & Qiskit. Grades 9–12.
$1,299Concept-first academic readiness — get ahead in AP Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science A, Statistics & Calculus before the school year. A bridge, not a cram course.
One-on-one guidance from researchers and AI professionals at leading institutions.
Every program ends with something tangible — an AI agent, a model, a research poster, or a published paper.
Live, instructor-led sessions you can join from anywhere in the world.
