Is this teaching my child to day-trade?+
No. This is an educational data-science and AI course using historical, delayed data. There's no real money, no live trading, and no buy/sell advice. The most valuable thing students learn is healthy skepticism about flashy financial claims.
Does my child need the Agent Builder Lab first?+
It's strongly recommended — this Level 2 lab builds on the AI-agent skills from Level 1. Students with solid Python and AI basics from elsewhere can also fit; reach out and we'll help you decide. Enrolled students get Python and AI-math prework on our portal.
Is it real finance, or just coding?+
Both, by design. Students build a genuine analyst tool with real data, but the heart of the lab is critical thinking — overfitting, survivorship bias, and why “past performance” warnings exist. That maturity stands out on applications.
